Halswell Weddings - Wedding Guide - Ceremony

Ceremonies

A number of options are available for you to solemnise your union and once you've made your choice your wedding coordinator will happily work with you to build your day.

Church Wedding Ceremony

For a Church of England marriage ceremony, St Edward´s Church in Goathurst could be an option subject to agreement of the Vicar.

Civil Marriage Ceremony

The Morning Room, Dining Room and The Blue Ball Room are licensed for civil marriage ceremonies for up 60, 120 and 110 seated guests respectively. The ceremony will be conducted by two registrars from the local authority.

Blessings

We can also offer you a variety of stunning indoor and outdoor locations for the blessing of your union.

Guest Arrivals

As your guests arrive they will be invited to congregate in the historic Justice Room. A small bar will be available in the room to offer them refreshments prior to the marriage ceremony.

Music during Ceremony

Should you wish to have music within either room, either before, during or immediately after the Ceremony, the Registrar must be advised of this by the Bride and Groom in advance. We are happy to recommend musicians, harpist and string quartets.
